Hey there Parents, Grands, and Friends! Below you will find the notes from our most recent planning meeting. The BFF Board Members are so excited to link arms with you, strong and united, to serve our BRAVES community and Tribe. 

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9;12

Meet the Teachers & Braves–August 3rd!

We are looking forward to Meet the Teacher (5pm) and Meet the Braves (6pm). Right after Meet the Teacher, you are invited to the football field to Meet the Braves, Administration, Coaches, and BFF Directors. BFF will be serving FREE hotdogs & giving away popsicles (first come first served). The Concession Stand will also be open. It’s going to be a fun evening of fellowship and kicking off a new school year with our first pep rally.

We are raising $125 for the hotdogs. Please VENMO @TWISDbff if you would like to donate towards the hot dogs. Please be sure to put hot dogs in the memo. You can also drop donations off in school office. Please put in envelope or ziplock bag labeled BFF hotdogs. Thank you!

Back to School Stock the Fridge Drive

BFF would like to show our appreciation to our TWISD staff by stocking the fridge with drinks and providing individualized packaged snacks for the first week of school. Please drop your donations off in the elementary or secondary office on Meet the Teacher & Braves night.

Athlete Parent Meeting–Thursday, July 27 at 6pm

Parent meeting for all athletes 7th through 12th grades. We need team parents!

2023-2024 Special Events

This year BFF will be sponsoring the following events and we need your help parents, grands, and friends.

Meet the Teacher & Braves: Meet your teacher then head to the football field to meet all the BRAVES and enjoy free hot dogs and popsicles provided by BFF.  

Hispanic Heritage Celebration Night in September: A night to celebrate Hispanic Heritage with food, music, and activities.

Father & Daughter Activity In February: A special event for fathers, sons, and grands. Last year the coordinator chose to host a dance. The coordinator will get to choose the activity. 

Mother & Son Activity in April: A special event for mothers, sons, and grands. This will be our first year to have an event for mothers and sons. The coordinator will get to choose the activity. 

2023-2024 Fundraising

Funds raised by BFF goes to support the financial needs of TWISD classrooms, individual students, and student organizations. Thank you for being a cheerful giver and serving to help us meet their needs.

2023-2024 Spirit Shirt & Membership Drive - August: This year's theme shirt is Strong and United. Adult shirts are $20 and youth are $15.

Fall Festival - October or November: This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It’s a family night of fun and fellowship with food, live music, games, auction, and more. Last year we raised $7000! It’s our goal to raise $10,000 this year. Strong and united, we can do it!

Fun Run PK through 5th Grade - March: A friendly fun run to raise funds for our TRIBE.
